We first met James and Sarah back in 2019 on top of the South Downs on a very blustery autumnal day - they were on the look out for a rural outdoor venue to host their tipi wedding. One of the locations we visited was Whitefield Woodland Weddings in Hellingly, which offered lots of space for what they wanted and a beautiful woodland canopy that wraps around the field offering shelter and privacy, plus a beautiful unlicensed woodland ceremony area.
As with many of our couples over the last couple of years, James and Sarah's initial date and plans were thwarted by the pandemic and the wedding was re-scheduled.
Forward wind to August 2022 and Sarah & James finally got to have the wedding of their dreams, but this time with a new addition to the family...their beautiful baby daughter!
Working with James and Sarah was an absolute pleasure over the years and we were so happy that their wedding festival - JAMFIELDS all came together, so that they could celebrate this special weekend with their family and friends.
With photography by Kirsty Mackenzie, a hay bale outdoor stage for bands and songwriters, food trucks, ice cream van and an outdoor gin bar, glamping bell tent village, festoon lighting and festival flags, JAMFEST was the ultimate festival wedding weekend!
